School Play:
Listen for an announcement to audition for our school play! Too shy to act? Why not join our "Stage Crew" for an opportunity to work behind the scenes in lighting, sound, or props. .
Math Counts Team:
If you are a math enthusiast who loves fractions, decimals, and other equations...join the math counts team! It is geared toward students who realize how much fun math is !!
Newspaper:
“The Cougar Outlook” is Crockett’s school newspaper. Student writers, reporters, and cartoonists staff the newspaper. All students are welcome to be a part of the school paper.
Yearbook:
Open to 8th graders, this club meets during 6th period lunch. Members help choose photographs, brainstorm ideas for the layout, edit spelling and grammar, select the cover; in addition, they help advertise and sell the yearbook throughout the year. Contact Ms. Huchel in A15 for more information.
Student Council:
Do you enjoy working with students and adults? Are you an organizer? Then this club is for you! Work with the school administration to provide activities and services for students, school, and community. Student Council arranges fundraisers via school dances, spirit days, turkey shoots and student-faculty sporting events. Contact Ms. Farrell in B6 for more information.
First Lego/Robotics League:
Students will research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. They also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on a table-top playing field.
Bully Free Friends (BFF):
This club focuses on creating a school climate that is welcoming, safe, and filled with kindness and compassion. This club realizes that change comes through large and small acts of kindness and works on promoting these acts to all individuals at Crockett. The Diversity Club:
The mission of The Diversity Club is to provide a safe and inclusive space for all members of the school community reglardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or ability. The Diversity club is geared towards all Crockett students who are looking to foster a school-side culture of appreciation for diversity. If interested please see Mrs. Niedrach in B House office.
