About the Library/Media Center
Mrs. Seksek, Library Media Specialist firstname.lastname@example.org
Students at Yardville Elementary will have library class two to three times a week every 3 weeks which includes time for them to check out books. Students in the library are BUSY and the library curriculum supplements and augments the classroom curriculum. Comprehensive library programs are proven to increase student achievement and the library program strives to be a place of creativity, fun, and exploration.
Borrowing limits (All materials due in one week - print and ebooks)
Grades K-5 = 2 books (digital). Note: these limits do not include class-assigned materials. Print borrowing policy: If a child needs a mystery book for a class project, for example, they may take the extra book out.
Overdue materials (print materials only)
Any student who has only one overdue book (not overdue more than 2 weeks) may check out more items. Fines are not charged for overdue books. Lost books must be replaced with a new copy which can be purchased at a book store and sent into school. If you cannot locate the title, you can donate a hardcover picture book in good condition to the library.
