Miss Jacqueline Frazier

Hello families!

My name is Miss Frazier! I am so excited to be teaching 7th grade math this year. I am a graduate of Rider University where I studied math extensively. I am passionate about creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. I love encouraging my students to come to this school year with an open mind. Anyone can be “a math person” so long as they put in the effort. I am so excited to be in the classroom and get to know all of you and your students this year.

This year, we will be covering a variety of concepts including:

  • Ratios and Proportions
  • The Number System
  • Expressions and Equations
  • Geometry
  • Statistics and Probability

Please reach out with any questions or comments. I’m looking forward to a great year!

    • Summative 50%

Individual practice will include assignments such as homework or completion of a simple worksheet.

The formative assignments will include formative assessments (minor quizzes or check-ins), notebook checks, and completion of more complicated classwork.

The summative assignments will include test or quiz scores and projects.

Every marking period will have at least 5 formative assignments and 3 summative assignments being graded.

    Attention Parents/Guardians:

    1. Please visit your child’s Powerschool Portal to view ALL upcoming due dates for assessments, projects and homework.

    1. Students will be given 1 WEEK to complete and submit a formative or summative assignment. Teachers will use their discretion about dropping points for late assignments.  If not handed in for partial credit after one week, the assignment will receive a Zero.

    1. Assignments that are not submitted on time will have a “0” place holder UNTIL the assignment is completed and submitted.  Once a grade is placed, the Zero is removed.
