    Good Morning staff and students:

    • Welcome back everyone and for our sixth graders/a special welcome to the Crockett family!
    • This is the first week of our hybrid schedule ever! The building looks a little different. Pay attention to traffic signs on the floor and stay to the right of the hallways.  Make sure to maintain social distancing
    • Reminders each day/we know that we have sent these reminders in emails but I will repeat them here:
      • Remeber to bring your laptop charged each day
      • Bring your refillable water bottle to school each day
      • Bring your backpack to school each day/it is also a great way to protect your school device
      • Wear a mask and bring an extra each day
      • Bring your lunch to school each day
      • If you have a question, please ask! We are all here to support you

    Students please bring back any books, materials or resources that you still have at home.  This includes novels or books that you received last year.

    Picture Day is next week Tuesday, October 20th, Wednesday, October 21st and Thursday, October 22nd.  An email was sent to all students, as well as parents and guardians, with the schedule of dates and times.  Please note all pictures will be taken outside under a tent, please plan accordingly.  Please note we will continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines, as well as wearing a mask.  You will be allowed to remove your mask for the actual picture.

    October 23, 2020 - Starting Monday, October 26, 2020 students who are interested may sign up for the Cougar Connection during lunch.  Cougar Connection is a club that is aimed at having students particpate in our pre-recorded broadcast announcements.  So if you are ever interested in being a news anchor, broadcaster or part of a news crew, you can sign up during lunches.

    October 28, 2020 - In observance of Halloween students may:

    - Wear a costume

    - It must be appropriate for school. No revealing costumes will be allowed.

    - With the exception of masks that are a part of PPE requirement, no other masks are allowed.

    - Students may not cover their faces with face paint

    Just a reminder that Air Pods, phones, headphones are not permitted when walking around the school building.  At this time you may only have your phone out during your lunch period.

    The results of Crockett's 1st annual pumpkin contest are in.  In 3rd place pumpkin J Carmel Apple created by Mrs. Costantino, 2nd place pumpkin H Among Us created by Mrs. Conover. And our big winner pumpkin E Pumpkin Spice Latte created by Ms. Pitonyak. Thank you so much to everyone that participated.  Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!

    Hey Crockett!! - Crockett is having a Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Now is the time to show you care about others. Bring your canned food and non-perishable items to school.  There will be a box outside the school's main door during school hours.  In addition, hybrid students can bring the items to the B house office.  Items are being collected until Friday, November 20th! Thank you for your kindness!

    Happy Veterans Day! Veterans Day is a federal holiday in America observed annually on November 11th.  It is set aside to honor military veterans-people who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Remember to thank a veteran today!
