2. Examine the role race played during The Gilded Age
3. Evaluate the motives and outcomes of the Robber Barons.
4. Assess the tactics of the early labor unions.

5. Identify the pros and cons of the Long Drive DBQ Step 2
6. Read and evaluate documents A & B
7. Read and evaluate documents C & D
8. Read and evaluate documents E & F
9. Introduce the concept of bucketing.
10. Presidential Speechs of FDR and Reagan
11. Presidential speeches of FDR and Reagan.
12. Evaluating the Presidential speeches.
13. Debate about the role of government using evidence from both speeches.
