Greetings, 8th grade ELA remote learner!

Welcome back to Remote Learning (September 8-October 9, 2020)!

If you haven't yet, please join our Google Classroom and ask your caregiver to join, too.  It's where you'll find important information, links to live lessons, assignments, and rubrics.  The code for your block is below.

Block 2/3 (class at 9:20 AM):  hnihide

Block 4/5 (class at 10:40 AM):  hsly3jl

Block 7/8 (class at 1:00 PM):  ldwl3bq

In our class, you are my heroes.  We will make mistakes, but when brave enough to share mistakes and learn from them, we are heroic.  We read for pleasure and information; write for pleasure, self-expression, explanation, and persuasion; and develop vocabulary to increase our ability to communicate, read, and write.  With a degree in English Literature, guiding your lessons is my pleasure.  I hope you enjoy learning about our texts, making connections, and challenging your mind as much as I do!  I can't wait to Meet you!

Attention Parents/Guardians:

Please visit your child's PowerSchool portal to view all upcoming due dates for assessments, projects, and homework.

Project directions and rubrics are posted in Google Classroom.
