Ms. Angela Lea, MA CCC-SLP
Hello Parents and Students of the 2020-21 School Year,
I am Angela Lea, MA CCC-SLP. I am the school-age speech and language therapist for University Heights Elementary School. I am a proud alumnae of the Class of 1986 from Trenton Central High School. I recieved my undergraduate degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 1990 from Longwood College and the University of Virginia. I began my career as a Speech and Language Specialist in the Trenton Public Schools in 1993 after working for Campbell Funeral Chapel, Mercer County Community College and substitute teaching. I started working in the Hamilton Township School District in 2003 at Wilson Elementary School. I recieved my Master's degree in Speech Pathology/Communications Disorders in 2006 from the College of New Jersey. I am licensed by the state of New Jersey and certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition to Wilson, I have served the students and parents at Reynolds Middle School, Klockner Elementary, Kuser Elementary, Langtree Elementary, McGalliard Elementary and Robinson Elementary from pre-school to 8th grade. I have also served as a Home Instruction service provider as well as an Extended School Year (ESY) therapist. Currently, I am involved with early intervention services catering to clients with speech and language needs from age 0-3 years old, and an assistant to the office manager at Campbell Funeral Chapel. I attend Saint Phillips Baptist Church where we partner with tutoring Hamilton Township School District Students and various other community projects under the leadership of Dr. Joseph E. Woods. I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. with the Trenton Alumnae Chapter. I live in Hamilton Township, and I have one daughter whose a proud alumnae of Hamilton High School West Class of 2016.
