All About Me
Hello and welcome! My name is Marisa Naro. I am very excited for the start of a new school year here at Grice Middle School! This is my twelvth year teaching in the Hamilton district. During previous school years, I have taught at Langtree Elementary, Sayen Elementary and Yardville Elementary as both a self-contained MD teacher and a resource room teacher. I have now been an MD teacher for 10 years and I absolutely love what I do! I am a Hamilton Township resident, graduating from Steinert High School in 2006. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University in Elementary Education, in addition to the Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement. I also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the academic content area of Writing Arts. I graduated in May of 2010 with honors and as the receipient of the 2010 Rowan University Stanton B. Langworthy Medallion Award for Excellence in Education. I have worked in the Mercer County Special Services School District during the 2008 and 2009 ESY programs. My experience in multiple Special Education classrooms and facilities has given me the opportunity to expand my teaching practices and truly grow as an individual. I am very fortunate to have had such a well-rounded teaching experience thus far and I look forward to another great year!
