Hello Greenwood Families,
I'm Mrs. Ross, your dedicated school nurse at Greenwood Elementary. This is my second year as Greeenwood Elementary School's nurse. I am committed to providing compassionate care and support to all members of our school community.
As a registered nurse with eight years of experience, I understand the needs of the community. Whether it's managing chronic conditions, administering first aid, or offering guidance on healthy habits, my goal is to empower students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
I encourage parents, teachers, and students to reach out with any health-related concerns or questions they may have. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where every student can flourish.
I am available from 8:25am to 3:45pm daily. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me or send me an email.
Thank you for entrusting me with the health and well-being of your child. I look forward to supporting their growth and success throughout the school year.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Ross, BSN, RN
School Nurse

Covid 19 Information
- Wearing a mask in school is an option for students and staff
- Regardless of vaccination status, if a student is positive for COVID-19, they must stay home for at least 5 calendar days. If after 5 calendar days the student is fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication, and the symptoms are improving, or the student never had symptoms, they may end isolation after day 5 and return to school masked through day 10.
- Household/Close Contact of COVID positive individual (regardless of vaccination status)
- Do NOT need to quarantine
- Monitor symptoms
- Wear a mask around others for 10 days from last known contact of a positive individual
- At this time, there is no remote instruction option for students.
- If there is an outbreak in a certain classroom or school, the district will work in collaboration with the Department of Health to determine next steps based on the individual circumstances.
