Remember that flu documentation is due in December, but if you have it now I am happy to pass along to the nurse. Remember if you are having any tech issues the tech department can be reached by following the below instructions. They can help with any technology issues. It is a Google Hangout that will be open during those hours. Below is how to reach the help desk.-Go to the district home page-click departments-click technology-click HTSD 1:1 on the left hand side of the page, the link is on that page

This is our third week of school! Wowie! Remember, if you have not sent in your child's flu shot records they are due by December 31. If you send them in, I will be happy to pass along to the nurse. We are trying not to go into backpacks too much to avoid touching, so please let us know it is in there and we will get it. We are settling in nicely and getting used to this new routine. So to review, on remote days you should be completing journal work (1-2 pages a day) in the packet I sent home. At 9:20 promptly we will start our Morning Meeting followed by a read aloud concluding by 10am. The link to join can be found at the top of the daily schedule or weekly schedule sent to student SeeSaw (a new link is created each week). Remote friends will then log into SeeSaw after the read aloud to complete the daily activity. Always reach out with questions!

This week we will continue to adjust to our new routines both in school and on the computer. Next week will begin more individualized centers which will be based off of the assessments. Please reach out with questions as always.

9/10 Thursday- Yellow Day PM
9/11 Friday- Blue Day AM
Happy FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! If it is your day to come into school remember, at 9 am the doors will open on the side building on the blacktop next to the playground (where the ramp is). Please make sure both you and your child have a mask on, even when outside. We will call your child by name to come in one at a time. Make sure your child comes with a quick and healthy snack, as we only have 10 minutes to eat. We will eat outside whenever possible. Pick up time is at 11:30 am sharp in the same place as drop off. We will send your child out one at a time. Please make sure to have your ID on you at pick up time.
To my friends who are remote learning this week check your email for the weekly and daily schedule. Each morning by 9 am you will recieve our schedule for the day which will include the Google Meet link. Make sure your ID name is clear when joining so I know exactly who it is that is joining. I will not allow unknown names to join. By now you should have your ABC Mouse, and SeeSaw log in. If you do not have these, please send me an email (it is possible if you registered very recently the system did not update yet, but let me know regardless so I can follow up) As we know bumps in the road my happen so if you do not have these log ins, or your are having technical difficulties, below is what you can do in place of activities until we can sort it out. I will unfortunatly not be able to assist with technical issues from 9:00-11:30 when I have students with me, but the tech department may be able to help.
Remember all of the info you need can always be found on this teacher page which I update at the start of each week, in Seesaw, or in your email. I will be handing out Journal work packets for the Month to complete during the 9:00-9:20 Journal time at home. These packets are meant to stay at home. Please have your child practice their name at least once a day in the journal. Please complete 1-2 pages of work each morning from 9:00-9:20. This packet is meant to last the entire month. For choice time you and your child can decide what activity they would like to do, just like we would if we were in school. Choice and play is crucial to Pre K learning. I have a choice of playing outside, playing inside, ABC Mouse time or a craft. ABC Mouse activites are selected for your child on an individual basis, so please use this platform not only during choice time, but it is available to you whenever you would like use at home. Please utilize the link found under optional crafts for a page of optional crafts for the month of September to do at home. This link utilizes materials that you most likely have access too at home, but if you see something you and your child would like to try and need a material, please let me know and I will give you the materials, if I have them. This is meant to give many options to parents at home, rather than assigning one specific thing since we are all in different situations.
Let me reiterate that I will watch of your children as if they were my own when in class. I know there is a different level of stress this year, and many students are also coming to school for the first time on top of that. We are going to have a happy, healthy and fun learning experience and I am so glad to be here working with you and your child. Remember, ALWAYS email me when you have a question or concern. I am always here, and we are a team #teamworkmakesthedreamwork WELCOME TO THE LANGTREE PRE K SQUAD!!!!!
<3 Love Always,
PS- I promise all of my updates wont be this long... just a lot of info at the start of the year! :)
Alternate Activties if having technical issues:
In place of SeeSaw: Please draw a picture of what you would like to learn this year! Take a picture and email it to Ms. Fraunberger.
