The Steinert High School Math Club competes ten times a year in both the DVML (Delaware Valley Math League) and the CVCML (Colonial Valley Conference Math League). At each math competition, team members challenge their math prowess by taking a 10 question test which lasts for one hour. The sum of the top three scores of our team members constitutes our team’s score. The highest team score takes possession of the coveted league trophy until the next meet where they must defend their right to keep the trophy. Topics covered in the Math Competition include topics from Algebra, Geometry and Pre-Calculus. Team membership is open to any student interested in mathematics and having the desire to test and expand the limits of their understanding. Each meet concludes with the opportunity to socialize with friends over treats provided by the school hosting the meet.
