    Tests/Projects=50%

    Quizzes/Notebook/Do Now/Classwork=40% 

    Homework/Preparation/Behavior=10%

    2020-2021 School Year

    January 4-8 (Google Classroom #0017)

    Students will be problem-solving by learning how to find patterns in real-world situations. They will also be exploring fractions by learning how to read and write them. They will understand the difference between the numerator and the denominator. They will review how to find the GCF and the LCM or a set of numbers and have a quiz on finding them.

    January 11-15 (Google Classroom #0018)

    Students will find equivalent fractions and simplify fractions in numeric and real-world problems, and complete lessons on Imagine Math.

    January 18-22 (Google Classroom #0019)

    Students will learn how to compare and order fractions. They will complete a study guide and take a quiz on information from lessons 9-12.

    January 25-29 (Google Classroom #0020)

    Students will complete lessons on Imagine Math. They will take an end of module test on number theory and basic fractions. They will learn how to convert a mixed number into improper fractions.

    February 1-5 (Google Classroom #0021)

    Students will learn how to convert improper fractions into mixed numbers. Students will learn how to add fractions with like denominators.

    February 8-12 (Google Classroom #0022)

    Students will add fractions with like denominators in numeric and real-world problems. They will learn how to add fractions with unlike denominators.

    February 15-19 (Google Classroom #0023)

    Students will take the Imagine Math Diagnostic Assessment. They will continue to add fractions with unlike denominators. Students will learn how to add mixed numbers. They will have a quiz on adding fractions.
