• National Honor Society Meetings 2020-2021

    Ms. Andersen will be holding the second NHS meetings on Tuesday, 12/15, and Wednesday, 12/16, from 7:20-7:45 A.M. You only need to attend one of these meetings. Please sign in by 7:20 A.M. so I can take attendance.

    NHS Tutoring 2020-2021

    At this time, NHS Tutoring will be put on hold until further notice as per administration. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Andersen.


    National Honor Society Application Information and 

    Eligibility Requirements 

    The National Honor Society extends membership invitations to those students deemed outstanding in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. If you meet the required GPA and believe you have demonstrated these qualities to the best of your ability, you are encouraged to complete and return the application form. The application is a reflection of you and should mirror the attributes you possess.

    The following are requirements of the application (NOTE: THESE MAY CHANGE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC):

    1. A minimum 3.75 GPA at the end of your junior year (must be a rising senior)
    2. A minimum of 20 hours of community service from the past three years (please see application concerning this)
    3. A list of leadership positions held and involvement in clubs/activities/work inside and outside of school
    4. An essay on a specific topic determined by the NHS Selection Committee

    The selection of each member to the chapter shall be by a majority vote of the Faculty Council. Prior to notification of any candidates, the chapter adviser shall review with the principal the results of the Faculty Council’s deliberations.

    Applications will be due to Ms. Andersen and Ms. Koutsouradis during the 2021 school year. No late applications will be considered.
