Degrees and Certifications:
First and foremost I love being a teacher! This is my twelfth year of teaching and look forward to an amazing year. I have spent 7 years in 4th grade and this will be the start of my seventh year in 2nd grade. I absoluetly love it and use all that I have gained from the upper grades to help guide the younger ones. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 9 years old. I was born and raised in Hamilton Township and graduated from Nottingham High School in 2001. From there I went on to further my love of teaching at Mercer County Community College and Rider University. In 2006, I came back to my schools and started teaching.
I am married, with a 9 year old son, a 5 year old daughter, and our 12 year old dog Bella. My husband is an architect and loves designing buildings. We are huge fans of going to the beach, picking apples, dancing, and going on vacations with our friends!
My absolute favorite thing to do is to play with my kids and read books!!! Whenever I can, I will pull up a book, snuggle in my favorite chair and read for hours (if my kids allow me!) Over the summer, I didn't get to go away this year BUT we added to our family, with the addition of our new puppy Rosie. She is a Golden and Labrardor Retriever. She absolutely loves to snuggle, play catch and run in circles with my children.
I look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know each of you individually!
