    Math Counts Team:

If you are a math enthusiast who loves fractions, decimals, and other equations...join the math counts team!  It is geared toward students who realize how much fun math is !!

“The Cougars’ Tale” is Crockett’s school newspaper.  Student writers, reporters, and cartoonists staff the newspaper.  All students are welcome to be a part of the school paper.

Open to 8th graders, this club meets during 6th period lunch. Members help choose photographs, brainstorm ideas for the layout, edit spelling and grammar, select the cover; in addition, they help advertise and sell the yearbook throughout the year.  Contact Mrs. Hart in B-21 for additional information!

    Student Council:

Do you enjoy working with students and adults? Are you an organizer? Then this club is for you! Work with the school administration to provide activities and services for students, school, and community.  Student Council arranges fundraisers via school dances, spirit days, turkey shoots and student-faculty sporting events.  Talk to Mrs. Hart in B-21 or Mrs. Micharski in A-5 for more information.

    First Lego League:

Students will research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. They also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on a table-top playing field. Our competition is held at Steinert High School in November. If interested please visit Mr. Koppenhaver's website HERE.

    Bully Free Friends (BFF):

This club focuses on creating a school climate that is welcoming, safe, and filled with kindness and compassion.  This club realizes that change comes through large and small acts of kindness and works on promoting these acts to all individuals at Crockett.  See Mrs. Niedrach in B House office for more information.

    Willow Tree:

This is a leadership club where teens become an advocate against alcohol, tobacco, and bullying.  If you are a leader and would like to help others make better to Mrs. Niedrach in the B House Office about joining this club!

    Comic Book Club:

Students read comic books that are supplied by the school and also play comic book related card games. We have many discussions about current superhero movies as well.  See Mr. Koppenhaver in D3 for more information.
