    Good Morning,

    Thank you to every parent who has agreed to particiapte in Reading Recovery Screenings. I am still completing the screenings. Please make sure that you click the google meets link at the time sent to you in SeeSaw. If you have any trouble, please email me and I will work with you. 

    For my Basic skills students, please make sure that you are attending your classes, completing your assigned work, etc. Attendance is important.

  • General Announcements week of 9/21/20

    Good morning Lalor Families,

    Please continue to check your email messages. Last week, the BSI team has continued to send virtual permission slips. Please make sure that you fill it out so we can begin services. 

     Reading Recovery Screening

    RR screening is taking place still. Parents check your phones. I am sending daily text messages with my google meets link. Please make sure you are on time ready to go. I appreciate your support. 

    2nd Grade Reading/Writing 

    Parents, please read with your child for 15 to 20 minutes a night. 

     

    1st Grade Math Students

    Review the following skills

    • counting from 1 to 10.
    • Recognizing numbers 1 to 10
    • Counting objects in and around the house from 1 to 10
    • writing numbers 1 to 10. 
    • Stay on top of the math assignments from the classroom teacher.

Hello Lalor Families, 

Thank you for reading this page. I hope that you find this mini-biography helpful. I grew up in East Brunswick NJ, and I graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in history and psychology. I am currently attending the  Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University where I am pursuing a Masters's Degree in Special Education and Administration. This will be my eighth year teaching.  For the past seven years, I have been working in the Hamilton Township School District as a Basic Skills and Reading Recovery Teacher. I hold teaching certifications in Elementary K-6, Reading Recovery, Special Education K-12, supplementary reading and math instruction for grades K-8, and I am certified as a google educator for level 1. I also have experience as a classroom teacher and as a special education teacher. My passion is working with students who have academic difficulties. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my dog Skip, my friends, and my family. I am also a serious professional wrestling fan and like to watch football.
